Since its inception, ZG has had clients ranging in age from 6 years to 72 years. Children under 18 must have a parent/guardian co-sign their safety waiver, and children under age 9 must have an adult present in the studio during class. As far as weight goes, both the poles and aerial silk hammocks are designed to safely accommodate up to 250lbs.
RyLee Rogers is an experienced Zero Gravity instructor, and valued team member. When not teaching open classes at ZG, RyLee offers private training services directly to clients. This includes one-on-one lessons to meet your needs, exclusive class series and workshops, energy sessions, personal coaching, and more. Good question! For comfort and safety, different classes recommend different attire. For Pole Fundamentals I, shorts, leggings, & yoga pants are all acceptable. A tank top is recommended but any kind of top will work. Socks or bare feet are both fine. For Aerial Silk Yoga and Intro to Silks Tricks, leggings are recommended to protect skin against friction. Heels & Style, as well as any Floorwork class do not require heels (although they are encouraged!) but knee pads are advised. Removable layers (pants, hoodies and legwarmers) are suggested for warm-ups when coming in from a cold outer environment.
Of course! The whole idea is that you get strong BY taking the classes. Zero Gravity's Pole Fundamentals classes are designed for people with no experience, and no strength to speak of. Anyone can get started, and everyone progresses differently. We'll help you grow at your own pace.
Kiddos are welcome in the studio seating areas as long as they are old enough to mind themselves (with a video game, snack, coloring book, etc.) while a parent is in class. Minor children should not be in the training areas, or near any of the equipment unless they are registered for a class. NO PETS. If you have a service animal please speak to Management in advance. 701.630.5866.
Absolutely. Although most of our clients are female, we have male members as well as a male instructor. ZG works hard to ensure that the studio is a safe space for everyone. In the event that a staff member feels ANY person (male, female, or non-binary) is in the studio for reasons other than to learn, they will be asked to leave.
No. We do not have a license to provide or allow on-site consumption of alcohol.* Persons appearing to be intoxicated will be asked to sit out for their own safety.
*Alcohol at our ticketed events is catered and sold by a local establishment with a liquor license and city-approved off-site sales permit.
Although ZG offers three different unlimited monthly membership options, you do not need to be a member to take classes. Many clients pay as they go, on a per class basis. It all depends on what is most cost-effective for you! See the Pricing page for Membership options and pricing.
